Welcome to the website of the University of Arizona Center for Directed Energy. The Center has been established in 2024 and has two major missions: To advance science and technology in the fields of high-power lasers and microwaves and to prepare graduate students for the challenges they will face in the rapidly evolving technological landscape. The Center is a member of the Directed Energy Center of Excellence sponsored by the US Joint Directed Energy Transition Office (JDETO).
